watch out for scams PTR sites
If you’re doing PTR, Watch out for the Scam sites !
In this post I will show you a list of known scam sites, but also teach you how to recognize one yourself. There are many PTR sites that never have the intention of paying, but by doing a little research it’s actually quite easy to see if they are for real.
First of all, never get into sites that claim to pay more then 2 cent per email. There may be some exceptional GPT programs paying 5 or up to 10 cents for an email, but these are usually the ones that also pay for Surveys and/or PTSU (Paid To Sign Up), sites like inboxdollars.com, they may send a 5 cent email every once in awhile. But generally, a regular PTR site doesn’t send emails over 2 cent, they simply cannot afford it.
Another example of a scam ptr site is 30dollarsmail.com. Have a glance at the program specifications on the main page, and I hope you recognize a scam where you see one. Although both sites are actually looking professional, you can easliy see that what they’re offering is too good to be true.
The two examples above are obvious scam sites, but it requires a little more research to ensure whether a sustainable looking site is paying or not. Here are some tips that may help you to recognize a non-paying / scam program.
- Look at the advertising page of the particular program, and check to see if the ad prices are sustainable
- Preform a Search in google and combine the name of the program with keywords like scam, scammer or scammed. If your search returned many results, you might be dealing with a scam site.
